We had to go through 3 rounds of feedback on the formatting and design for the initial version. I can't recommend this agency because the project manager lacked the ability to review the work properly and ensure a consistent look throughout. The same slide template appeared three times in our presentation, but each time it was done differently with varying spacing. As someone who used to work in banking, it was a frustrating experience due to the lack of attention to detail during our collaboration.

We thought basic formatting would be consistent across the entire deck, especially since we hired a design agency for this. We wasted a ton of time adding over 30 comments in Version 1 just on formatting instead of focusing on the actual design, and then we had to repeat that in Versions 2 and 3. Simple issues like text boxes being different sizes or not aligned properly, or icons being off. This should be basic knowledge for a deck design agency. That's why we paid them to handle the design. But we ended up having to redo everything.

What I liked:
- The copywriting and design skills were solid.
- The project manager was available to assist with the project.
- Ziflow is a fantastic tool for giving feedback.
- The PM was somewhat helpful.

What I didn't like:
- Some businesses have more complexities than others. It would have been beneficial if the Business Analyst had engaged in more discussions and brainstorming sessions with my team. There were still quite a few gaps in understanding that could've been cleared up with a couple more meetings.
- Providing feedback through text isn't the most effective method. After giving feedback, there should've been a follow-up session to discuss it with the BA or the PM.
- A pitch is super important for a startup; launching it without proper meetings and discussions with the designer is like sending out a half-baked cake. Overall, I think Slidebean really needs a more thorough and engaging process to create a pitch.

These designers are just awful. I opted for the expedited shipping (they promised a 24-hour turnaround at checkout) and I didn’t see the first draft for at least three days. All they did was take the text from my slides and shove it into some colored boxes. I specifically requested that they turn the text into visuals. If you're looking for a real transformation of your slide deck, I wouldn’t suggest going with them. Honestly, I'd be better off hiring someone from Upwork, paying them by the hour, and collaborating closely. It’ll end up being cheaper and way more effective.

This product is really good and works well, but the way the requirements are applied could use a bit of tweaking. I recommend that any follow-up feedback should come with a phone call or maybe a direction approval call before diving into the comments phase.

I tried out their slide redesign service, and honestly, the results were pretty bad. They don't stick to basic design rules like alignment and keeping font sizes consistent. The main reason for hiring a design firm is to enhance the slides, making them clearer and more organized, but they missed the mark completely.
